Welcome to The Spirit of Life

Welcome to The Spirit of Life: A Catholic Community of Justice & Joy. We are an inclusive Catholic Community, open and affirming, fully accessible to all.

Our community members come from all walks of life and from diverse spiritual experiences. People come to The Spirit of Life seeking to hear a message of hope and inspiration that nourishes them and empowers them to live out their faith in the world. Many have previously experienced themselves as ‘marginalized’ by our church, for a variety of reasons, including divorce and remarriage, sexual orientation, and the need to hear language which includes images of God beyond that of male judge. Together, as mature, sincere, and searching Christians, we are creating a community of faith which energizes us to be living examples of justice and joy in our world.

We come together each week to celebrate Eucharist. Together we break open the words of Sacred Scripture, and share bread and wine, as well as the companionship of caring committed people of faith who are seeking to grow in our spiritual lives.

We invite you to come and ‘be with’ us and join us in co-creating this community of justice and joy. We warmly welcome you to make your spiritual home with us!

Blessings,
Jean & Ron
